Stephen Kiprotich wins gold in the men’s Olympic marathon. Uganda’s first medal at the london olympic games this year; Uganda’s first Olympic medal since 1996, Uganda’s only gold since the Great John Akii Bua!!! Stephen Kiprotich took gold and his first major title in a time of 2 hours 8 minutes 1 second.
